EXCLUSIVE: The real reason behind Charlotte Crosby’s trip to Australia is revealed – amid rumours she will be appearing on The Masked Singer

Charlotte Crosby sent the rumour mill into overdrive this week when she secretly flew into Australia, with fans speculating she may appear on The Masked Singer.

But Daily Mail Australia can reveal the British reality star, 31, won’t be a contestant on this year’s season of the Channel 10 reality show.

‘Charlotte is back Down Under for a series of meetings and work commitments, none of which include any TV production,’ her manager Shane Tyler Greaves said.

Charlotte will instead spend her time in Australia doing several jobs and producing content for her Nova podcast Values and Vibrators.

Charlotte announced she was en route to Australia on Monday and would need to complete 14 days of mandatory hotel quarantine upon arrival.

Remaining coy about the reason of her trip, TV Blackbox was quick to speculate her dates lined up with production of the new series of The Masked Singer.

Charlotte told fans she was sad her longtime boyfriend Liam Beaumont wasn’t allowed to travel with her due to Covid restrictions.

‘I have to work so I have a special work visa. Liam couldn’t get a visa as he wouldn’t be working there,’ she said.

‘As you can imagine Australia is so strict at the moment. They aren’t even accepting tourist visas!’ she added.

Charlotte’s involvement with The Masked Singer was plausible, as she has a connection to the show’s producers.

She previously appeared on the Australian version of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, which is also produced by Warner Bros. for Channel 10.

It comes after the former Geordie Shore star made headlines when she showed off her incredible singing voice while belting out Adele’s Rolling in the Deep.

She revealed her hidden talent while in lockdown in Britain.

The third season of The Masked Singer Australia begins production in July 3, just as Charlotte comes out of hotel quarantine.
