The reason Carrie Bickmore’s ex husband Chris Walker left the Logies amid TV star’s ‘flirtfest’

Carrie Bickmore’s ex-husband Chris Walker left the Logies ceremony following her flirtatious interaction with Dr Chris Brown.

Carrie, 43, and Dr Chris, 45, are long-time friends, but the two TV personalities reportedly had a ‘flirtfest’ with each other at the recent awards show.

The pair were seen sharing a hug while catching up and had a few laughs before they presented an award together and it didn’t stop there.

While they were on stage to present the Graham Kennedy award for best new talent, a 20-year-old clip from Harry’s Practice featuring a shirtless Dr Chris was shown.

When the clip ended, Carrie quipped, ‘You’ve got to take your shirt off more, then you might get a Gold [Logie].’

Carrie’s TV producer ex Chris, who split with The Project star last year, was also in attendance, but made himself scarce during the segment.

An insider told Woman’s Day: ‘Chris was out of the room when Carrie was on the stage, which may have been to avoid any TV cameras panning over to his table.’

Both Carrie and Dr Chris are believed to be currently single, with the TV vet parting ways with model girlfriend Brooke Meredith in 2022.

It comes after Carrie’s former partner of 11 years broke his silence on the couple’s painful split early last year.

The television producer tells an upcoming episode of Luke Darcy’s Empowering Leaders podcast, as reported by the Herald Sun on Sunday, that he’s dealing with the ‘grief’ of the separation.

Chris explained the hardest part of their new co-parenting arrangement is ‘saying goodbye to the kids twice a week’.

‘I still find that just enormously challenging. I had always assumed I’d be around them a hundred per cent of the time,’ he explained.

‘When it comes to being a dad, I was born for it. I love it and I wanna be around them all the time. I find that really difficult.’

Chris said that he was being supported by friends and family through ‘rougher times’ but he added, ‘the thing is, grief can last a long time.’

Carrie announced their split in an Instagram post in January last year, saying the pair was focused on co-parenting their three children, Ollie, 16, Evie, eight, and Adelaide, five.

‘It’s with immense sadness that Chris and I have decided to separate,’ she wrote.

‘While this is a tough time, our focus is on parenting, loving and supporting our three children Ollie, Evie and Addie with everything that we’ve got.

‘They are doing great. We won’t be making any further comment.’
