The ridiculously simple ‘genius’ hack for hanging out baby laundry has parents obsessed

Hanging washing out on the line is a tedious chore not everyone likes to do and any parent will know how much they need to do to keep up with their little ones.

Luckily one parent has figured out a hack that might make it a little bit easier.

The trick is simply hanging baby onesie’s upside down and clipping them over the clothing rack with its own clips, which means no pegs are needed.

The hack was shown in a photo posted to the Nubs & Bumps Facebook page, who said: ‘Omg why did no one tell me about this hack sooner!’.

At the time of writing the post had garnered 55,000 comments and 16,000 likes.

Many of the comments were from parents praising the idea and others saying they already did this themselves.

‘I didn’t do this but looks like a good idea apart from doing/undoing all the buttons,’ wrote one mother.

‘I’ve been doing this for ages. I also do this with other clothing items that have similar fastening ie dungarees, rompers, baby dresses, even bras,’ said another.

Some even suggested only doing up one of the domes so that it was less fiddly and took up less time.

‘I’m actually surprised this is considered a hack. I did it with all my daughter’s onesies without a second thought,’ a parent wrote.

‘Only did the middle button though, no need to do all three ain’t nobody got time for that!’

Of course with any idea, not everyone thought it was a practical hack.

‘Looks like it’s a great idea… but actually way more work to be doing up all those domes etc…then undoing them all when dry… ain’t nobody got time for that!!! [sic],’ said a commenter.

‘Omg! How long would it take to button up all those press studs! No sleep deprived mummy/daddy is doing this,’ another comment read.
