- Fans question The Rock after he again fails to correctly do the Bloodline pose
- The Hollywood star appeared on SmackDown to set up WrestleMania match
- Rock will team with Roman Reigns to take on Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins
The Rock has laid down a tag team challenge for WrestleMania but fans have questioned his intentions, after once again spotting him using the incorrect Bloodline hand gesture.
The Hollywood A-lister appeared on Friday night’s SmackDown, where he addressed the challenge laid down by Cody Rhodes for a one-on-one match with the WWE icon.
Instead of accepting the match from the American Nightmare, Rock upped the ante by making his own challenge for WrestleMania, where he’d team with Roman Reigns to take on the pair of Rhodes and Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins – signally his first match in eight years.
To add even more intrigue to the bout, Rock added a stipulation that if he and Reigns were to be beaten, the Bloodline would banned from ringside for Rhodes’ Undisputed title match, but if they win, the title match would then be contested under ‘Bloodline rules.’
The segment then ended with Rock finally acknowledging his cousin as the Tribal Chief, before the Bloodline stood together to pose in the ring.

Fans have questioned why The Rock failed to have his finger posing correctly when posing with The Bloodline

However, fans once again spotted a questionable flaw in the way the Rock held the familiar stance, where the family members hold a single finger in the air to signal them being ‘the ones.’
On closer inspection it’s clear to see Rock’s thumb is facing outwards – in the direction of Roman Reigns – and the former WWE Champion seems to even move his hand in a ‘trigger pulling’ motion towards his WrestleMania tag team partner.
It’s the second time Johnson has failed to apply the pose correctly, after previously sticking his thumb out during his first appearance alongside the Bloodline last month.
The actions have led to speculation over what will happen at WrestleMania, and if the Rock’s repeated ‘long game’ will actually see him turn on his cousin and cost him the title his held for over 1279 days.
Earlier in the day, the 51-year-old had taken to Instagram to post a twenty-minute video of him sending a message to Rhodes and Rollins.
In the video, he laid into the American Nightmare and explained his actions in siding with Reigns since his returning to WWE. Ending the post by telling Rhodes ‘F**k your story’.

WWE’s story changed at last month’s press conference as Rock slapped Cody Rhodes
It comes a month Rhodes had initially stepped aside for The Rock to take his place in the main event of WrestleMania, setting up a heavyweight clash between Reigns and his famous cousin.
However, after an outcry from fans wanting to see Rhodes reinstated into the match with the Undisputed Champion, WWE moved to align Rock with The Bloodline.
Last month the pair clashed at the WrestleMania kick off press conference, when Rhodes slur in the direction of Johnson’s wrestling family saw Rock slap the WWE superstar across the face.
