The Se77antasette superyacht unveiled by Italian designer

An Italian designer has unveiled an incredible new concept yacht.

The Se77antasette – which as its Italian name denotes is 77 metres (253ft) long – boasts a host of innovative design features including a glass dome on top of a massive sundeck.

The dome includes an augmented reality screen – so if for some reason you don’t like sea views you can escape elsewhere.

Underneath, the boat has a private 1.5meter deep swimming pool. And there’s another pool on the terrace, the floor of which can lift into the air, transforming it into a helipad.

The sleeping arrangements are luxurious too – with two VIP cabins and four guest cabins on the lower deck.

The VIP cabins have a walk-in wardrobe and his & her’s bathroom, and a full-height sliding glass panel that provides access to the private terrace. The guest accommodation also has a glass panel offering stunning views of the sea.

The ship has been created for Benetti by award-winning international designer Fernando Romero. Talking about the sun deck, he said: ‘I wanted the owners and guests to be able to see the stars at night.’

The company has not yet priced the yacht as the figure depends on specifications and how much a buyer is willing to pay but it is expected to fetch around £100million.

Powered by five, variable speed CAT generators, the yacht could have a maximum range of 5,000 nautical miles at 12 knots and carry up to 12 guests along with 19 crew.

The company said: ‘The engineering is done. We could begin the project tomorrow if we find an owner.’
