Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan were Australia’s golden couple in the 80s, dating while starring together in iconic soap Neighbours.
Despite Kylie, 50, eventually giving him the flick to pursue a relationship with INXS’ Michael Hutchence nearly three decades ago, the pair have remained amicable.
But that may be about to change as reports emerge that Jason, 50, made a lewd joke about their sex life on stage, reported The Sun this week.

According to the publication, it was during Jason’s Amazing Midlife Crisis UK Tour, that Jason joked about what he and Kylie got up to between the sheets.
The pair dated for three years until 1989, while at the same time playing lovers Scott and Charlene Robinson on Neighbours.
‘As well as singing some of his most famous songs, Jason also shares with the audience stories about his career,’ a source told The Sun.
‘When asked whether there was a lot of Jason in the character of Scott Robinson, he cheekily replied that there was certainly a lot of Scott in Charlene.’

The insider added Kylie’s friends have claimed the Spinning Around hitmaker would be less than impressed with the jibes.
‘The stories have started filtering back to Kylie through her friends — and her close circle don’t think she will be best pleased,’ the source continued.
Tensions were also said to be at boiling point after they performance of 1988 hit, Especially For You, at Hyde Park last month, with Jason claiming Kylie ‘hogged’ the microphone.
However, in a statement to Daily Mail Australia on Monday, a spokesperson for Kylie said there was no bad blood between the pair.
‘There is only good friendship and mutual respect. They had a great time at Kylie’s 50th party and at Hyde Park.’

It’s not the first time Jason has spoken in a public forum about his and Kylie’s sex life, despite the former calling it off in 1988.
The ex-soap star admitted to Piers Morgan in 2012 that when he and Kylie first got serious, it wasn’t in the most romantic of settings – as they consummated their relationship in a Travelodge.
‘She chased me and then I guess I gradually gave in. The next thing you know we were working and having this relationship,’ Jason said.
‘At the time it was great. We cemented it in a Sydney Travelodge. Travelodges in those days were posh places.’
