The Traitors’ Paul issues warning to viewers ahead of explosive episodes as Jaz gets closer to catching TV villain

The Traitors’ villain Paul Gorton has issued a forbidding warning ahead of this week’s episodes.

The business manager, 36, has been hailed the new Nasty Nick, after he has successfully managed to manipulate Faithfuls to vote out their own in the ultimate game of treachery.

After Friday’s episode ended on a cliffhanger, viewers complained they had to wait until next Wednesday to see if Diane has been murdered by the poisoned chalice, while Jaz draws the net in closer to catching Paul.

Paul teased what was in store after one fan wrote on X, formerly Twitter: ‘How is it still two days till The Traitors’.

The TV villain replied: ‘You’ll be thankful for the days off after you witness what’s coming’.

Fans branded the Traitor ‘so evil’ as he refused to spill any more teasers about what is in store.

They wrote: ‘Paul why? You’re so evil’ and ‘This level of teasing is unacceptable’.

Others said: ‘Rooting for you Paul! Crunch crunch!’ and ‘Oh you tease’.

‘I’ve got a hunch Harry turns and takes you all out, the baby faced assassin that he is!’

‘Sooo Diane does die and we should be thankful that we don’t know yet because we’re about to be hell disappointed’ (sic).

On Friday’s episode the three remaining Traitors – Paul, Miles and Harry – were tasked with deciding who to hand a poisoned chalice to drink from as they made their latest killing.

Diane was seen taking the cup in an explosive cliffhanger, leading many fans to think she had been murdered.

However some insisted they had not in fact seen Diane drink from the chalice, leading them to believe she will still be in the competition when the show returns on Wednesday.

Some series devotees predicted there could be a mega twist – Diane could hand the chalice to her own real-life son Ross, leaving him to be eliminated from the competition.

As this week's last instalment of the programme ended, Diane was seen taking the poisoned chalice which could seal her fate, leading many show fans to think she had been murdered

Elsewhere in the episode, Jaz’s suspicions grew as Paul took him off for a strange chat to try to persuade him that he is a Faithful after he voted for him at the round table.

However the business managed leaked a huge hint as to the identity of another traitor as he dropped Harry’s name into the conversation.

National Account Manager Jaz, 30, admitted that he gets a ‘dodgy vibe’ from Paul and the whole chat sounded ‘suspicious.’

He admitted that he could see how no-one else in the group wants to step up to him and the power he has is ‘incredible’.

Opening up about his ‘rocky upbringing’, Jaz added: ‘I know what it’s like to be lied to. I don’t trust anyone in this place, I never have.

‘Never take kindness for weakness. I’ve still got my eyes on him.’

The Traitors continues on Wednesday at 9pm on BBC One.
