Don Smallgoods have released popcorn bacon which can be heated up and enjoyed in minutes.
A snack-sized 140g packet can be found in Woolworths and major independent supermarkets around the country for $6.50.
The popcorn bacon snacks are bite-sized pork pieces that have been encased in a crispy crumb coating.

‘Get a load of this bad boy! The people at Don Smallgoods are geniuses,’ food blogger The Grocery Geek AU said in a post to Facebook.
‘This is what has been missing in our life. We reckon this has to be the perfect snack.’
Hundreds were alerting their friends and keen to try the bites for themselves and one even thought the launch was an April Fools prank.
‘Checks date, it’s not April 1st… need to try this!’ one said while another reported the popcorn bacon bits were ‘delicious’.
Don’s Popcorn Bacon can be found in the refrigerator aisles at participated supermarkets and prepared in the airfryer, under the grill or baked in the oven.
