The Voice Australia winner is revealed – as they take home $100,000 cash prize and a recording development package

The Voice Australia aired its gripping grand finale on Sunday evening, which saw Reuben De Melo crowned winner of the popular singing competition.

Reuben, who was LeAnn Rimes’ team, could not contain his shock after host Sonia Kruger, 59, told him he had won a recording contract and $100,000 in prize money.

‘I never thought I’d get this far, this is crazy,’ he exclaimed.

Elsewhere, Rimes couldn’t contain her excitement as the FIFO worker and father-of-three’s win.

‘I’m so proud,’ she began.

‘You deserve every bit of this moment and I’m so honoured that I could be on this journey with you.

‘You are incredible,’ she concluded.

Reuben competed in the grand finale alongside Annie Jones from Team Adam, Jaedyn Randell from Team Kate and SKŸE from Team Guy.
