The 33-year-old Canadian son of Ethiopian immigrants – who boasts 136.8M social media followers – tweeted an emoji of the French flag on Thursday captioned: ‘I missed you.’
And Abel is not alone either as he Instastoried a snap of a long-haired woman descending the cement staircase of what appeared to be his rental home.

Knowing how private Tesfaye is, it’s doubtful he’ll go red carpet official with Simi at Monday’s premiere of the first episode of his six-episode debauched drama, which starts streaming June 4 on HBO.
The Double Fantasy hitmaker co-created and wrote The Idol with Sam Levinson and Reza Fahim as well as taking on his biggest acting role yet as nightclub impresario/self-help guru/cult leader Tedros opposite Lily-Rose Depp as pop star Jocelyn.
The high-stakes series is technically premiering out of competition, but an independently-sponsored jury lead by Tony winner John Cameron Mitchell are considering it for The Queer Palm, a prize for selected LGBTQAI+ relevant films entered into Cannes.
The Hollywood-set show also stars Troye Sivan, Rachel Sennott, Ramsey, Suzanna Son, Hank Azaria, Dan Levy, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Eli Roth, Hari Nef, Jane Adams, Jennie Ruby Jane, Mike Dean, and Moses Sumney.
Abel will then kick off the European leg of his 64-date After Hours til Dawn Tour on June 6 at Portugal’s Passeio Maritimo de Algés in Lisbon.

‘It’s getting to a place and a time where I’m getting ready to close The Weeknd chapter. I’ll still make music, maybe as Abel, maybe as The Weeknd. But I still want to kill The Weeknd. And I will. Eventually. I’m definitely trying to shed that skin and be reborn.’
Abel said his sixth studio album ‘is probably my last hurrah as The Weeknd. This is something that I have to do. As The Weeknd, I’ve said everything I can say.’
As for Khadra, she keeps busy running cosmetics company SimiHaze Beauty with her identical twin sister Haya aka Haze.
The USC grads’ big brother Fai Khadra frequently appeared on E! reality series Keeping Up with the Kardashians due to his friendships with Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner.
