The WORST celebrity interviews are revealed… but can you guess who they are?

They’re the seasoned entertainment journalists who have dealt with their fair share of diva meltdowns, toe-curling chats and bizarre requests.

And in the wake of a slew of TV reporters spilling the beans on their most awkward A-list experiences, Daily Mail Australia has compiled a list of the worst celebrity interviews.

From the sulky ex-Playboy model to the Oscar winner who refused to shake hands and the rock goddess who went topless during a chat, these anecdotes are bound to make you cringe.

While Pamela Anderson’s career spans decades and endless publicity appearances, it seems the ex-Baywatch star turned animal rights activist isn’t always keen for the limelight.

Comedian John ‘Rove’ McManus recently confessed that the 50-year-old turned up to a live show in 2006 late and not ‘in the mood’ to chat.

‘I remember having Pamela Anderson on the show and she was late – and we were live so that wasn’t helpful,’ he told Stellar magazine.

‘We started without her even in the building, and I was hearing updates her car had stopped at a red light and she’d got out and walked off because she had enough or was tired, I don’t know.’

Rove said that when she did turn up, it was clear that Anderson was ‘not in the mood to play’.

‘On air, I ended up asking ‘Are you OK? You don’t seem to be having fun.’

But things didn’t seem to go any better with Rove adding that he gave up on her and said: ‘Here is your shovel, you dig the hole, I can’t help you anymore at this point.’

And while Pamela was reportedly unwilling to give very much away, Courtney Love perhaps revealed a little too much to reporters.

The grunge goddess, 53, whipped off her top during a press conference to repeatedly change her blouse, according to self-described gossip guru Richard Reid.

He claimed the rocker’s ‘bad behaviour’ was perhaps the most significant, citing how she arrived ‘several hours late’ for their interview.

‘[She] then brazenly proceeded to change her blouse repeatedly, braless, in front of a succession of dumbstruck journalists,’ he alleged.

Reid also recalled uneasy interactions with Salma Hayek and Ashley Judd, calling them ‘divas who won’t shake your hand [and] sigh at every question they’re asked’.

Elsewhere, Studio 10’s Angela Bishop revealed her wince-inducing experience with an acclaimed actress who refused to greet her.

‘I learned the hard way from one Oscar-winning legend not to offer to shake hands before the start of the interview,’ she told news.com.au.

She's really abreast of things: Courtney Love, 53, whipped off her top during a press conference to 'repeatedly' change her blouse, according to self-described gossip guru Richard Reid.

‘She threw her hands in the air and said, “Ladies do not shake hands”.’

Another female actress who reportedly clashed with a reporter is Cameron Diaz – who hung up on radio hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O after a series of awkward questions about Drew Barrymore.

She decided to pull the plug when shock jock Kyle made a comment about best friend and Charlie’s Angel co-star Drew’s former drug habit.

Cameron had said that young actress Giselle Eisneberg – who plays Cameron’s daughter in the movie Sex Tape – reminds her of a young Drew Barrymore in the 1982 movie E.T.

‘She’s as bright and lively as Drew is,’ she said – before Kyle, 43, jumped in with, ‘Let’s hope she misses out on the Drew Barrymore drug years.’

And the wince-inducing run-ins don’t stop there, as some journalists have lifted the lid on celebrities who simply refuse to engage in the interview at all.

Veteran host Gus Worland said that at the top of his ‘worst’ list was action star Steven Seagal.

Gus said his team were ‘so looking forward’ to chatting with him, as they were all fans of his movies.

‘But oh my goodness, he was so up his own a*** it was unbelievable! He was just really difficult to talk to. He gave one word answers, just really difficult,’ he said.

Second came another on-screen hero, Jean-Claude Van Damme, who he said was ‘exactly the same’ as Seagal.

‘Sometimes when you get to meet someone you see as a bit of a hero and then all of a sudden they give you one word answers… it’s really disappointing,’ he described.

Meanwhile, Amanda Keller of the Jonesy & Amanda show dubbed Spiderman actor Tobey Maguire as one of her least favourite interviewees, describing him as having ‘such little charisma’.

She added: ‘He was so difficult and I understand that being a chatty person is a different skill to being an actor but how hard is it to sell a Spiderman movie.’
