A vet has shared the list of names he will ‘never’ give his future children.
Dr Ben has worked with hundreds of animals and believes there are certain names that will forever be ‘pet names’ for him.
‘I’m a vet and because so many pets have these names they went straight on the ‘no’ list of baby names for my kids,’ he said. ‘Milo for me will forever be a cat name!
‘Nothing wrong with any of these names – I just can’t unhear them as dog and cat names.’
The vet’s list of ‘cat’ names he will never use for human children are: Millie, Milo, Bella, and Poppy.

Similarly, popular dog names he will always associate with pets, not humans, are: Max, Barney, Reggie, and Oscar.
Hundreds shared other names they refuse to name their babies.
‘Alfie and Archie have to be up there,’ one said.
‘Luna is every cat’s name,’ another wrote.
‘Oh my god, finally someone gets that Milo is a pet name. Whenever I meet someone named Milo, all I can think of is my cat with the same name!’ a woman revealed.
One woman shared the hilarious circumstances she was named under.
‘My mum gave me the same name as her cat – she likes the name that much.’
Some shared a few ‘pet’ names the children in their family have.
‘My niece [is called] Elsie and I feel like it’s a cow name but I love her all the same,’ an aunt said.
‘My children are Daisy, Poppy, Lily, and Blossom … none of them are pets, just little humans!’ a mum wrote.
A third shared, ‘My cat is called Josie. And when she’s naughty, she’s called Josephine Rosalind II. She’s literally named after my nan.’
