Paris Saint-Germain’s first defeat of the season will have pleased Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, according to defender Thiago Silva.
United face PSG in the last-16 of the Champions League, with Solskjaer having travelled to France to watch Lyon beat the Ligue 1 champions on Sunday night.
Thomas Tuchel’s men lacked steel in midfield in the absence of the injured Marco Verratti and missed the spark of Neymar, who will miss both legs against United after suffering a serious foot problem.

‘It’s going to be a great clash against Manchester,’ Silva, who fouled Moussa Dembele in the box to hand Lyon the winning penalty, told L’Equipe.
‘To beat them we will have to be at 110 per cent. Solskjaer possibly walked away from here happy because we did not play really well.’
Meanwhile, Kylian Mbappe has insisted that he is not concerned about playing United, who have won nine and drawn once since Solskjaer took charge.
‘I don’t know if the defeat (against Lyon) was deserved. In the first half it was deserved, but after half-time, we still dominated,’ he said afterwards.

‘We started well. We have hurt Lyon, who let the storm pass before starting to hit top gear. Lyon had opportunities and scored.
‘We also had situations. After half-time, we put them back in the game. They scored on the only occasion they had, a penalty.
‘We have not realised our many opportunities. I’m not worried about the Champions League match. We must take it match by match and wait for the Champions League.’
PSG are still 10 points clear of Lille at the top of the table and have two games in hand.
