Not everyone loves Christmas, but that’s no excuse to nick a three-metre inflatable version of Santa.
But sadly for a sports store in Melbourne, that’s exactly what a Scrooge-like thief has done.
CCTV footage obtained by 9 News shows the cold-hearted thief making off after stealing the blow-up Father Christmas from the SportsFirst store in Eltham at around 3am on Saturday.

The grainy video appears to show the man holding tools he may have used to steal the inflatable.
Victoria Police is investigating the theft.
