Thierry Henry had a brutal three-word response for co-pundit Jamie Carragher when asked where the former Liverpool defender fits into his dream team.

The two Premier League legends were on punditry duty for Sky Sports’ broadcast of Arsenal’s 6-0 demolition against Sheffield United on Monday night.

The Gunners strolled to victory thanks to goals from Martin Odegaard, Kai Havertz, Gabriel Martinelli, Declan Rice, Ben White and an own goal.

After the game, Henry and Carragher were on hand to analyse the match before delving further into the insights of the former France striker.

One section included Henry naming a starting line-up, where he brutally snubbed former Liverpool defender Carragher.

Towards the end of the broadcast, Henry said: ‘I wish we had the other team, so we could’ve done more!’

Host David Jones said: ‘I wanted to know where you were putting Jamie in that team’.

‘On the bench!’, Henry replied as the trio then burst into laughter.

Henry and Carragher also analysed Sheffield United’s performance against the Gunners, where the former Reds defender labelled it a ‘disgrace’.

‘I think that was a disgrace. In terms of a half football, I think it’s one of the most one sided games I’ve ever seen,’ the former Liverpool defender fumed on Sky Sports.

‘I think it said that you’ve come into this game on the back of losing two home games five nil in the Premier League conceding five against Brighton.

‘I mean, that’s shocking. I mean, it really is and as I said, I’ve never seen, it’s probably one of the worst performances I’ve ever seen.

‘I can’t think of anything worse I’ve ever seen in a half of football,’ he added.

Their mid-season re-hire of former manager Chris Wilder has done little to improve the club’s fortunes with Brighton also scoring five goals against them in the previous home fixture.

Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal produced their best opening to a game this season as their squad blossoming with top talents ran riot in the first half on Monday evening.
