After the trio received their drinks, CCTV footage shows the car suddenly taking off leaving a plume of smoke before it reversed and speeds off again leaving staff appearing shocked.

Queensland Police attempted to stop the white ute at the exit of the drive through, however the ute sped off towards the unmarked police car, hitting another 4WD on the way.

The ute tore through the car park, clipping the back of the 4WD before crashing into a bin along the way.

Two male police officers were not injured during the incident.

A Queensland Police spokesman told Daily Mail Australia a number of people are now in police custody in relation to the incident Tuesday morning.
