Thomas Muller faces three weeks on the sidelines after injuring his right thigh in Bayern Munich’s victory at Hamburg on Saturday.
The German was a second-half substitute in the away win and provided the assist for Corentin Tolisso’s 52nd minute winner.
But he was forced off just three minutes later with the problem and is now set for an agonising spell on the treatment table.
Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller has been ruled out for three weeks with a thigh injury

The injury comes at a crucial juncture in the Bundesliga champions’ season as they prepare for crunch games against their nearest rivals.
Miller will miss the German Cup clash with RB Leipzig this week as well as the weekend league game against the same opponents.
The 28-year-old will also sit out the Champions League group game at Celtic on October 31 and a clash with league leaders Borussia Dortmund.
Bayern are second in the table, level on 20 points with Dortmund but with an inferior goal difference.
The three-week timeframe also makes Muller a doubt for his country’s friendlies next month against England and France.
