Jazmyn Richardson (pictured) has gone missing and has not been seen since Thursday
Almost 2,000 people heave joined a Facebook group to help find a missing 14-year-old schoolgirl who hasn’t been seen in four days.
Jazmyn Richardson was last spotted outside her school at around 3pm on Thursday but she failed to return home in Nailsea, North Somerset.
Friends and family are growing increasingly anxious for her safety and say she has not gone missing before.
A photo of the teen shared on Facebook by her father Gaz Richardson on Friday has been shared more than 8,000 times.
The Facebook group was set up to help collate information about her whereabouts and had amassed 1,900 members by Monday morning.
Dozens of people have written on the Facebook page saying they were out searching for the teen over the weekend.
Jazmyn, a Year 10 pupil, was last seen outside Nailsea Secondary School.
Her distraught family say they have had some leads which police have been made aware of but they are growing increasingly desperate for her to come home safely.
Her aunt, Caroline Richardson, wrote on Sunday: ‘Jazmyn, if you’re able to read this, we love you.
‘Mom is worried so much, your little sister is so upset, she needs her big sister. You are in no trouble, everyone wants you home safe.’
Her stepmother, Hannah-Louise Noel, said Jazmyn had not gone missing before and the family were desperate for her to return home safely.
The teenager (pictured) is still missing and her worried family have set up a Facebook group
She said: ‘No one seems to know where she is, including her friends. She has nothing with her. No bag, no money, no phone,’ she said.
‘Jazmyn, we are out of our minds with worry. Please get in touch, let us know you are safe. Come home. You’re not in trouble, we just want you home safely.’
Jazmyn is described as being 5ft 3ins tall, very slim, with dyed black hair and a septum piercing.
She is believed to have been wearing a black hoodie rather than school uniform.
Avon and Somerset Police said: ‘Enquiries to locate her are ongoing.’
