  • Medics were called to Camden Fruit Barn on Macarthur Road, Elderslie 
  • Children were playing on the equipment when they were suddenly thrown 
  • Three children were taken to hospital while a girl was treated at scene 

Four children have been injured after a bouncy castle flipped due to strong winds south west of Sydney. 

Emergency services were called to Camden Fruit Barn on Macarthur Road, Elderslie at 3.35pm on Saturday.

The children were playing on the castle when they were suddenly thrown in the air before falling to the ground.

An eight-year-old girl was treated at the scene for minor injuries including knee pain.

Three other patients were taken to Westmead hospital by paramedics with non-life threatening injuries.

Two boys, aged five and six, and a three-year-old girl, were treated for abdominal injuries and back pain- while the girl also sustained head injuries. 

A spokesperson for Westmead Children’s hospital said the children are still being treated but remain in a stable condition.
