Three men have been arrested after a man died at a house in Melbourne.
Police were called to an address in Alexander Street in the upmarket suburb of Brighton East following reports of an alleged assault shortly before 8.30pm on Wednesday.
They found a man, believed to be in his 30s, with serious injuries. He died at the scene despite the efforts of paramedics.

The man died after a brawl broke out in the driveway of the property, according to 3AW.
Three men, aged 36, 37 and 41 and all from Brighton East, were arrested at the property and are assisting police.
Victoria Police said the exact circumstances surrounding the death are yet to be determined.
