Three people hurt after bus crashes into homes in Sydney

Two women and a man have been hurt after an empty bus ran up the curb and crashed into two houses in Sydney’s north-west on Saturday.

The bus was travelling through North Ryde before midday when it mounted the footpath, passed through a front yard and crashed into the homes.

Two women in one of the houses suffered minor injuries and were taken to Royal North Shore Hospital for observation, police said.

‘A man in another house also suffered minor injuries but did not require treatment.’

The bus didn’t have any passengers on board at the time – the male driver was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital for observation and mandatory blood and urine tests.
