- Tiemoue Bakayoko is intent on winning his place in the Chelsea starting line-up
- The Frenchman made 42 appearances during a loan spell at AC Milan last season
- Milan cannot sign him permanently after failing to qualify for Champions League
- Bakayoko’s agent revealed multiple clubs have shown interest in the midfielder
Tiemoue Bakayoko is intent on winning his place in Chelsea’s starting line-up next season after a positive loan spell with AC Milan.
The 24-year-old was one of the Serie A club’s star performers last season, but Milan will not sign the midfielder on a permanent deal.
The failure to qualify Champions League however means AC Milan are unable to make a move for the France international. He will therefore return to Chelsea where he signed a five-year contract in 2017.

‘There are some pretty interesting, quite big clubs that have inquired, but we give priority to Chelsea,’ Abdoulaye Bakayoko, his brother and agent, told L’Equipe.
‘We already know, there is the Champions League and we are looking for stability. Tiemoue has decided to stay there.’
The Frenchman scored one goal in 42 appearances during the 2018-19 campaign.
Bakayoko last represented Chelsea during the 2018 FA Cup final at Wembley
