Tiger Woods’ new girlfriend? Mystery woman is identified

After reportedly splitting up with his last girlfriend in August, Tiger Woods appears to be in the swing of things again with a beautiful new companion – this time the manager of a restaurant that he owns.

Woods, 41, was spotted with Erica Herman, 33, at this weekend’s Presidents Cup tournament – and the pair looked very comfortable with one another as she cuddled up to him in the brisk New Jersey weather.

Woods hasn’t openly admitted that the pair are dating, but Herman – who manages his pop-up restaurant, titled The Woods – was wearing a ‘player spouse’ lanyard usually reserved for wives and girlfriends.

Herman was also seen posing with a group of WAGs including Victoria Slater, girlfriend of American team member Daniel Berge.

The group – including Herman – were also photographed posing with guest presidents Barack Obama, George W Bush and Bill Clinton.

She was also spotted chatting with Annie Verret, Jordan Spieth’s girlfriend, and Justine Reed, wife of golfer Patrick Reed.

Herman was announced as the manager of The Woods, a pop-up restaurant, in February of this year. The restaurant ran at the Genesis Open at The Riviera Country Club from February 16-19.

It’s been an eventful year for Woods’ personal life. On August 10, he and then-girlfriend Kristin Smith announced that they were breaking up.

Smith, a Dallas-based personal stylist, had thought that Woods was cheating on her from time to time, and had broken down crying after his DUI arrest this spring, according to Radar Online.

He was also linked to fitness model Laci Kay Somers by TMZ; she told the site that she hadn’t been with Woods prior to his crash, despite rumors that they had partied together.

Police found Woods unconscious behind the wheel of his car on May 29; when questioned on the road and at the station, he appeared to be under the influence. However, it turned out that he had been suffering from a cocktail of painkillers and sleeping tablets.

‘Recently, I had been trying on my own to treat my back pain and a sleep disorder, including insomnia, but I realize now it was a mistake to do this without medical assistance,’ he said at the time.

‘I am continuing to work with my doctors, and they feel I’ve made significant progress. I remain grateful for the amazing support that I continue to receive and for the family and friends that are assisting me.’

America won the Presidents Cup for the seventh straight time. With most of the work already done, a dominant US team needed only one point from Sunday’s 12 singles matches.

Kevin Chappell halved the first match with Marc Leishman, and victory was assured when Daniel Berger went 3 up with three to play against Si Woo Kim in the fourth match. Berger wound up winning his match, and the celebration was on.

The last point came from Phil Mickelson, a 47-year-old on an American team that featured six players in their 20s. He’s played in every Presidents Cup since it began in 1994.

Donald Trump delivered the trophy to the winning team, saying he was dedicating it to the people of Puerto Rico, Texas and Florida still recovering from recent hurricane devastation.

Trump also said of Puerto Rico: ‘We have it under really great control.’
