TikTok prankster films himself cutting unsuspecting man’s HEADPHONES in shocking prank – but all is not as it seems

  • King Prank, a social media content creator, posted a recent clip of himself cutting the headphone cords of a middle-aged man in a shopping mall
  • The trend appears to have been picked up by other ‘influencers’
  • It comes as concerns have been raised over TikTok prank trends getting out of control, as creators bid for lucrative online clout

A TikTok prankster has built a brand filming himself cutting the wire’s off the headphone’s of unsuspecting members of the public in the latest online trend.

The content creator, who goes by the pseudonym King Prank, posted a recent clip of himself approaching a middle-aged man sitting alone on a shopping mall bench with his headphones in.

The youngster, who has 22 thousand online followers, is seen reaching forward with a large pair of green scissors and snips the thin wire of the bearded man’s headset.

The gray-haired man, wearing a blue shirt and cream khaki shorts, appears shocked and asks the teen ‘what the f**k man? What did you just do, you just cut my headphones!’

When the snipper-happy TikToker pleads ignorance, replying ‘what do you mean? you don’t need headphones’ the man becomes increasingly agitated.

He approaches the TikToker and asks him to replace his broken device before telling him that he is going to find some security and get him ‘into big trouble.’

The man then stops the prankster from walking away, at first by standing in front of him, then by holding the strap of his rucksack before reaching and grabbing his hair.

Only then does King Prank reveal the twist behind his anti-social act and gives the furious individual a brand new pair of cordless Apple Airpod Pro headphones.

‘These are not for me’ the recipient says first before taking the box and asking ‘why is this for me?’

‘It was a little prank and I wanted to replace it with something nice’ King Prank explains on the video which has been viewed more than 750 thousand times.

‘This is what this was all about? You had planned this the entire time? That’s crazy’ the man responds.

The men then shake hands before putting their arms round each other and going their separate ways.

It comes as concerns have been raised over TikTok prank trends getting out of control, as creators bid for lucrative online clout.

One such ‘joker’ was George O’Boyle, 30, who led a rabble of delinquents and wannabe ‘influencers’ on a fancy-dress invasion of an Asda store in London which turned into a violent mass brawl on July 22, 2021.

The gang live-streamed their rampage through the Clapham Junction supermarket but the carnage turned bloody when O’Boyle’s sidekick, Josh McDonald – a 33-year-old martial arts champion dressed as Spider-Man – kicked and punched defenseless Lauren Scott unconscious, in footage that appalled viewers on social media.

While O’Boyle – dressed as comedy star Ali G in a yellow tracksuit – launched into a violent attack of his own, punching the store’s manager up to 15 times in the face as fighting spilled into the aisles.

O’Boyle and McDonald were both jailed.
