A TikToker has been slammed as a disgrace for an ‘unfunny’ prank after pretending to collapse in an ‘understaffed’ A&E ward and shouting ‘I’m dying’ for likes and follows.
Londoner Farah Shams, 23, performed the stunt for her more than half a million social media followers last month on October 27.
In the video, titled ‘How to get seen in UK A&E’, which was shot by a friend, Ms Shams stands up and begins to loudly grunt, shouting ‘oh my god, I’m dying’.
She then walks to the middle of what’s claimed to be a packed NHS waiting area and yells ‘help’ as she drops to lie flat on the floor for a couple of seconds before getting up and moaning ‘why is nobody helping me?’

One medic at the unknown location stops to look down at the TikToker and a man who appears to be a security guard asks ‘what happened?’.
She confronts him and says ‘I’m dying, we’re all dying’ until the guard asks her to sit down and one of the baffled patients shouts ‘her friend’s videoing this’.
The clip has had more than 4million TikTok views but its comment section is filled with users slamming the controversial TikToker.
One person said: ‘What a display of stupidity, do you think they’re ignoring you? They’re under funded and under staffed, show some respect.’
Another said: ‘Hospital staff got enough to deal with.’
Another person said: ‘This is a really selfish thing to do.. people are sitting in there for hours… feeling awful and you’re not making it any better.’

Ms Shams (pictured) hit back at those slamming her online, explaining: ‘Wait for seven hours? And be discharged and not told… to then wait a further three hours when no one had any intentions of telling me I was discharged?’
While another added: ‘I don’t find this funny, there are sick/injured people who all have to wait a really long time to be seen, peace and quiet during those hours is.’
Another said: ‘She’s missed the mark with this video. Her other ones are borderline funny but this is just disrespectful.’
Someone else replied: ‘Really not funny. Just stupid and annoying. Other people need it more than you. You’re a disgrace.’
‘Pretty sad what social media has some people doing,’ added another commenter.
And another said: ‘She’s a be**end. Showing off while sick people are sitting there.’
However, when one user said ‘really not funny. Everyone has to wait’, one replied: ‘The question is, why do people have to wait at all. That was her point!’
Ms Shams claims she decided to pull the dramatic stunt because she had waited seven hours to be seen and then another three hours – only to find she’d been discharged without being told.
She’s brushed off criticism by calling angry users ‘keyboard warriors’ and bizarrely assuming ‘what I did is what everyone thinks of doing in their imagination’.
She hit back at those slamming her online, explaining: ‘Wait for seven hours? And be discharged and not told… to then wait a further three hours when no one had any intentions of telling me I was discharged?’
But a commenter hit back, saying: ‘Because if there’s 120 patients and let’s say 10 doctors how is it possible to NOT wait? I can’t deal with you people.’
One even said: ‘I felt like this when I waited four hours in A&E with a broken foot.’
Ms Shams replied: ‘They actually violate. What I did is what everyone thinks of doing in their imagination.’
One fan commented: ‘This was funny. Why are y’all so mad?’
The TikToker added: ‘Legit everyone’s sooooo pressed but half the people are keyboard warriors. If they were there they would’ve stayed quiet.’
In another video she films herself stuffing a pack of salmon, a tub of butter and a box of cereal inside her coat at a supermarket, before blaming the cost of living crisis in the caption.
