A who’s who of Australian stars turned out for the Fred Hollows Foundation gala in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.
So it was no surprise to see Tim Minchin front and centre at the VIP event.
The comedian and musician, 42, hobnobbed with the A-List crowd which included Sam Worthington, Lara Bingle and host Joel Edgerton.

International celeb favourites, such as Paris Hilton, Robert Pattinson and Ricky Martin, were also in attendance.
However, despite the star-studded guest list and the glitz and glamour of the occasion, Tim chose to rock a notably dressed-down ensemble.
Wearing his trademark locks out, the Matilda The Musical co-creator forwent a tux in favour of grey skinny jeans and a plain white t-shirt.
He added a casual black jacket to shield himself from the cool California climes.

The star, who frequently appears as a guest on TV quiz shows, wore a pair of black ankle boots to complete his look.
At the gala, the comedian was seen chatting with Joel as they sat together on a table with Dr Wondu Alemayehu.
Tim was later seen beaming as they posed for a photograph.

And it appears the Perth-born talent has much to smile about, with his new play Groundhog Day recently hitting Broadway.
His adaptation of Billy Murray’s cult film has earned rave reviews.
Tim has been married to wife Sarah since 2001, but it appears he went solo on Wednesday night’s outing.
