And Timothée Chalamet effortlessly combined classic red carpet dressing with his flair for out-there fashion on Monday when he stepped out for Dune’s London premiere.

The Oscar-nominated actor, 25, opted for a sharp black suit adorned with zips and larked around with his co-stars Zendaya and Jason Momoa for photographers.

Timothée teamed his suit with smart black shoes and accessorised with eye-catching jewellery.

The star was sporting his iconic floppy curls and was in high spirits while celebrating director Denis Villeneuve’s blockbuster in the capital.

Timothée is the film’s top-billed actor and plays central character Paul Atreides.

The much-anticipated film is based on the book by Frank Herbert and is directed by Villeneuve.

The story has been made into a film before by David Lynch in 1984 starring Kyle MacLachlan.

Lynch’s interpretation was not a box office hit.

The new film is described as being ‘about the son of a noble family entrusted with the protection of the most valuable asset and most vital element in the galaxy’.

Other stars of the film include Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Stellan Skarsgård, Javier Bardem and Charlotte Rampling.

Dune hits cinemas on October 21.
