She has been in the great and the good of the music industry for 60 years.

And Tina Turner, 78, proved she hadn’t aged a day at the opening night of Tina, the West End show production about her life, at Aldwych Theatre, in London on Tuesday.

Nothing short of spectacular, the 11-times Grammy winner showcased her age-defying complexion on arrival at the A-list affair.

The glamorous songstress had a box fringe which was perfect to frame her face and she styled her glossy locks in a sleek fashion.

Tina power dressed in her blazer suit which really accentuated her phenomenal age-defying figure.

The musical siren added the final feminine touches to her attire with glittering stilettos and semi-sheer gloves that featured sequinned embellishments.

Tina’s husband Erwin Bach, who married the star in 2013, was there to support the What’s Love Got To Do With It? hitmaker on the opening night of the musical.

Tina charts the story of her life from her humble beginnings in Nutbush, Tennessee, to establishing herself in the limelight as the queen of Rock n Roll.  

The musical captures the superstar’s determination and courage to defy the boundaries of her age, gender and race.

West End actress Adrienne Warren will play the songstress while Kobna Holdbrook-Smith will take on the role of her husband Ike.

Olivier Award-winning playwright Katori Hall wrote the script while Mamma Mia’s Phyllida Lloyd directed the musical. 

It was quite the A-list affair with the likes of Rod Stewart and his glamorous wife Penny Lancaster gracing the red carpet with their loved-up appearance.

Tina first told her story in her 1986 autobiography, I, Tina, and according to reports, she will release another memoir titled Tina Turner: My Love Story later this year.

The legendary artist’s new book will cover her ‘finding love’ and overcoming a ‘life threatening illness,’ according to Entertainment Weekly.

Tina’s first memoir was turned into the biopic What’s Love Got To Do With It, which starred Angela Bassett.

I, Tina’s pages lifted the lid on the musician’s tumultuous relationship with her husband Ike Turner.

Tina was domestically abused by Ike. They were married in 1962 before she filed for divorce in 1976 which was finalised two years later.

Tina, born in Tennessee as Anna Mae Bullock, began her career in 1958 as a featured singer for Kings Of Rhythm, a blues and soul group founded by Ike.

The Grammy Award winning singer made a comeback in the eighties with hit songs like What’s Love Got To Do With It? and Stay Together.
