Many say, do not judge a book by its cover, well! That is not wrong at all but, same people should also know that you should dress the way you want to be addressed. There is only one chance to create first impression and trust me; you don’t want to blow this chance up, not when meeting someone special to you.
It doesn’t matter what your age group is whether you are in your 20s or 40s, first meet ups can make you really anxious, especially while choosing what to wear, not just for women but also for men. Choosing what to wear does not have a particular pattern but there are some few things to consider before choosing a mode of dressing for your special meet up.
Men fall in love through what they see, while ladies fall in love with what they hear, I am certain that at one point or the other you have heard this statement. It is true but not totally true, not only men fall in love with what they see women do too. Some ladies are also attracted to what they see, I am personally attracted to men who wear nice boots or classy sandals especially when they are Rockport shoes, these shoes gives me an impression that the is man classy and makes me even more attracted to him.
I know many men hide under the umbrella of “I am just not naturally stylish” no one is naturally stylish, being stylish requires an obvious effort.
Here are few tips that will help you make right choice of outfit.
- Know where you are going, just like every other day, where you are going and when you will be going matters most while choosing what to wear. Are you going for a fancy dinner at a posh restaurant or are you going to a cinema? You cannot wear a dinner dress when your date is in the day.
- Show some skin and avoid baggy clothes; for women showing a bit of skin has been said to be very attractive, but there is always a limit to everything. For men, you can decide to roll up your sleeves or show your ankles.
- Wear the right shoes; whether you are a lover of lace-ups or slip-ons, wearing a boot for for men and heels for women works well almost all the time except the location of the date does not permit. Personally I would prefer looking simple or elegant with a pair of your Birkenstocks, no matter what type of shoe I feel like wearing, because I can go on a long walk and spend quality time outdoors still feeling comfortable in them.
- Everyone wants to be comfortable in what they wear when meeting someone special, but at the point of looking comfortable don’t look like you are going to the gym, or going for a walk on the street. Look your best and make a good impression.
