Today presenter Britt Cohen prepares to travel to Italy with her NRL executive fiancé ahead of intimate wedding in Lake Como

Today show reporter Britt Cohen is set to travel to Italy with her NRL executive fiancé Aaron Warburton on Sunday for their wedding in Lake Como.

The couple, who met on Hinge during Covid and got engaged in December, will tie the knot in an intimate ceremony with just seven guests.

The presenter said the couple knew they wanted a small European wedding and honeymoon as its the second time they both get married.

‘Aaron and I were both married before so early on when we got engaged, we said we wouldn’t do the whole big wedding thing,’ she told The Daily Telegraph.

‘The original idea was just to have a very small wedding, but then you start doing a guest list and you can’t not invite this person or not invite that person, so it was it was really hard to cut it down.’

The couple also hosted a big party in Sydney last week to celebrate with their friends who couldn’t attend their destination wedding.

Britt announced her engagement to long-time boyfriend Aaron in December last year.

She shared the happy news to Instagram alongside a photo of herself smooching her new fiancé, who is the Chief Executive Officer of the NRL Bulldogs.
