Toddler grins as he cuddles his baby brother

This is the adorable moment a toddler was introduced to his newborn baby brother.

The young boy appears delighted with his new play buddy, running a series of tests to ensure he is up to the role.

A video captures the charming encounter, the location of which is unknown. 

It shows the toddler kissing his new brother and stroking his hair, before carrying out an adorable inspection to ensure all of his features are in order.

The boy first checks his brother’s mouth, and is highly amused when the baby seems to move his lips.

He then assesses his brother’s other features, lightly poking his eyes, nose and cheek, before looking up to his parent in apparent approval.

Finally, the toddler plays with the newborn’s ears, again looking up to his parent and smiling.

The baby clearly passes all of the tests because the ecstatic young boy then cups his brother’s face and plants a big kiss on his nose.
