Dina Asher-Smith DOES compete in 4x100m relay heat despite hamstring injury which wrecked her medal chances in 100m and 200m… as Team GB impressively set new BRITISH RECORD ahead of Friday’s final

Dina Asher-Smith will run in the women’s 4×100 metres relay heats in Tokyo on Thursday at 2:00am (BST). 

The sprint star – who had her Olympics wrecked by a hamstring injury – returns for the first time after failing to reach the 100m final and pulling out of the 200m.

Asha Philip, Imani-Lara Lansiquot and Daryll Neita complete the team.
