News At Ten’s star anchorman Tom Bradby is to return to his job ‘imminently’ after a four-month absence, according to ITN sources.

He was told he could take as much time as he needed over the summer to battle the severe insomnia he has been suffering – but insiders say he is expected back within weeks.

Bradby, 51, has not presented ITV’s flagship news programme since April.

The Mail on Sunday reported in May that he was off work because of crippling insomnia.

As his absence dragged on, droves of fans took to Twitter wondering if Bradby would ever return.

He was last seen in public when he attended Prince Harry’s wedding in May.
