Tom Brady will enter the Hall of Fame as a quarterback, but he flashed his defensive abilities during a Fanatics event on Tuesday.

Brady was one of many pro athletes to participate in the company’s Merch Madness giveaway, which saw more than 100,000 underserved families benefit according to Fox Business.

With the initiative taking place in 30 cities around the country, Brady showed up to the event in Miami, Florida – alongside Odell Beckham Jr. and DJ Khaled – and found himself playing defense on one of the kids.

Brady played light defense on his opponent but pounced when the ball bounced off of her, picking it off before jokingly performing a juke move on another kid.

In New York, there were also plenty of big names that participated.

The event was also held at the Sixers’ Wells Fargo Center, and the team’s star Joel Embiid was in attendance.

Patriots owner Robert Kraft was also there for the event in New England.

Both Kraft and Brady paid tribute on Tuesday to former Patriots quarterback Ryan Mallett, who died in a drowning accident at the age of 35.

Brady called Mallett, who backed him up for two seasons, ‘a great man.’
