Tom Brady seems to still be enjoying his post-NFL life after 23 seasons in professional football. 

The seven-time Super Bowl champion was one of many pro athletes to participate in Fanatics’ Merch Madness giveaway, which saw more than 100,000 underserved families benefit according to Fox Business.

With the initiative taking place in 30 cities around the country, Brady showed up to the event in Miami, Florida – alongside Odell Beckham Jr. and DJ Khaled.

‘I’m taking it every day just one day at a time,’ Brady told PEOPLE of his first full summer without football in over two decades. 

‘I love my time with my family and trying to get some work things done. I’m still staying pretty busy.’

At this point, Brady would usually be practicing with his wideouts prior to training camp. Instead, he preparing for school drop-off.

‘It’s funny, this month is already almost over so they’re almost halfway through the summer and they’re back to school in August,’ Brady said. ‘Just spending quality time with them’ is TB12’s foremost priority. 

Brady also discussed the event at Carver Ranches Boys and Girls Club in Miami, FL. wherein he showed off some defensive skills while playing with the children.

‘We were having fun. I think I broke a sweat,’ Brady admits. ‘It’s the most footballs I’ve thrown in about eight months.

After  taking his kids to Greece last week the former Patriots and Bucs QB revealed there are a few more ahead. 

‘We have some travels coming up, some family vacations,’ he told the outlet.
