NRL star Tom Burgess and girlfriend Tahlia Giumelli have announced their engagement. 

Model Tahlia, 25, took to Instagram on Tuesday to share the news with fans and show off her new diamond ring. 

Sharing a snap of herself smiling and cuddling up to her man, 27, Tahlia said that their 2019 ‘ended perfectly’ thanks to the proposal. 

Rabbitohs star Tom proposed on a farm holiday on their three-year anniversary. 

‘And our 2019 ended just perfectly!’ Tahlia’s post began. 

‘Where it all begin in 2016; Our first holiday at the farm and three years later he’s down on one knee at the same place!’

In the snap, the pair are both dressed casually with Tahlia having her long locks out and over her shoulders. 

The pair can’t wipe the smile off their faces and received congratulatory messages from friends and fans.

‘Dad’s smitten and mum’s exhausted, but we can’t wait to get to know our little girl and start a new adventure as a family,’ Tahlia wrote online at the time.

Their relationship first hit the headlines in April 2017, with The Daily Telegraph reporting at the time that the pair were an item and had been dating for at least six months.
