Lane provides the voice over for the first part of the trailer.

He is heard saying to Ethan: ‘Your mission should you choose to accept it… I wonder, did you ever choose not to?’

Lane continues:  ‘The end you always feared is coming… and the blood will be on your hands. The fallout of all your good intentions.’

Hunley is then shown in conversation with the CIA Director played by Bassett, who tells Hunley: ‘If he had held on to the plutonium, we wouldn’t be having this conversation.

‘His team would be dead,’ Hunley replies.

‘Yes they would,’ she says. ‘That’s the job.’

Not much is known about the character Cavill plays but he seems to be on Hunt’s side – as he’s seen with Bassett’s CIA Director.

He asks her: ‘How many time’s has Hunt’s government betrayed, him disavowed him, cast him aside? How long before a man like that had had enough?’

So the scene is set for Hunt to be on a mission both battling the Syndicate and his own people.

But it’s Cruise’s stunts that are always going to take center stage and he doesn’t hold back.

There’s even a glimpse in the trailer of the moment he broke his ankle while jumping between buildings in London.

Mission: Impossible – Fallout, which is still filming in London, is slated to hit movie theatres on July 27.
