Tommy Fury shares his reaction to enemy Jake Paul breaking his baby announcement

Molly-Mae Hague and boyfriend Tommy Fury announced the arrival of their baby girl last week.

However, Tommy’s boxing rival Jake Paul let the news slip a week prior in a post advertising their upcoming fight, where he said said that there were ‘no excuses’ for the match to be delayed now that the ‘baby is born’.

Now, Tommy, 23, has spoken to Talk TV host Piers Morgan, 57, about Jake’s comments before their official announcement – while Molly-Mae and baby Bambi watched at home.

Brushing Jake’s comments off, Tommy said: ‘At the end of the day, all Jake Paul can do from wherever he is in this world is speculate, and that’s all that was.

‘Speculation, nothing is ever true unless you hear it from me and Molly. It’s part and parcel, it’s what we have to do.’

He added: ‘It comes with the entertainment business, that’s what we’re in, and me and Jake Paul are great dance partners, and I’ve enjoyed the build up so far, it’s going to get a lot more heated, and I can’t wait.’

‘Social media can’t save Jake Paul, his mouth can’t save him, it comes down to fighting.’

The bitter rivals have twice seen scheduled bouts fall through but are now finally set to go head-to-head after the two camps signed off on grudge match in Riyadh on February 26.

Jake Paul has used the birth of his long-term rival Tommy Fury’s baby to taunt his upcoming opponent ahead of their much-anticipated clash next month.

Paul and Fury have already had to be separated during their face-off to promote their upcoming fight, but the YouTuber has now taken things a step further.

The former Love Island stars announced the news in an Instagram post on Monday, as they shared a sweet black and white snap with their newborn.

The news didn’t come as a shock to most because Jake had already taken it upon himself to leak the news early last week, but he also added fuel to fire by leaving a comment on her latest post.

Jake wrote: ‘After multiple failed attempts to get Tommy Fury in the ring, the moment of truth has finally arrived.

‘Fumbles has no excuses now. Baby is born. Money is massive. Immigration is not an issue. Sunday February 26.’

He then replied to the announcement post: ‘Just in time to watch your dad get knocked out.’

The pair’s rivalry began after Paul’s first win over Tyron Woodley in August 2021 when he was confronted by the Brit, who was on the undercard that night.

Two previously planned fights between the pair were cancelled, with Fury pulling out due to a broken rib on the first occasion and difficulty getting into the US last summer.

The initial date of February 25 was reportedly changed to February 26 to avoid a clash with Floyd Mayweather’s exhibition bout against Geordie Shore star Aaron Chalmers.

Paul will be looking to maintain his unbeaten record up against a professional boxer for the very first time, having previously taken on ex-UFC fighters, a former NBA player and one of his fellow YouTubers.

His most recent win came against Anderson Silva in October of last year, when he toppled the MMA legend via unanimous decision.

Fury, meanwhile, outpointed Daniel Bocianski when he last laced up the gloves in April last year.
