  • Fury promised to knock Paul out within four rounds after the heated weigh-in

Tommy Fury shoved Jake Paul as the pair clashed during their heated weigh-in ahead of Sunday’s long-awaited bout in Saudi Arabia.

The two bitter rivals came face to face on Saturday and exchanged verbal blows in a heated spat after both making the 185lb weight limit for the fight.

Boxer and Love Island star Fury flexed his muscles after weighing in just under the limit at 184.5lbs, coming in heavier than his cancelled fight against Paul Bamba in November.

Meanwhile, YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul tipped the scales at 183.6lbs, coming in significantly lighter than his last bout against Anderson Silva.

Despite both fighters making weight, tensions boiled over and the pair had to be separated.

While on stage alongside his father John and brother and WBC heavyweight Tyson Fury, Tommy could be heard shouting ‘it’s over’ before shoving Paul.

The Problem Child fired back shouting, ‘You didn’t want to sign the contract’ which prompted Fury to hit back, saying: ‘Your time is up, I am going to knock you the f*** out’.

After the fiery exchange, Fury told reporters: ‘Tomorrow night, his time is up. Jake Paul will no longer be boxing. I’m gonna put this guy away in four rounds.’

But Paul took a more measured approach and called out Fury for showing off to the cameras.

He’s acting on stage, getting all hyped up, trying to act like his brother,’ Paul said. ‘This professional boxer is going down; it’s easy, it’s simple.

‘I’m ready, calm, cool, collected. This is what I do. He’s shaking up on stage; you can see the nerves running through his system. I’m chill.’

Although Sunday’s eight-round bout has been made at an 185lbs catchweight, the WBC announced the winner would get a world ranking at cruiserweight, giving more incentive for Paul to come out on top.

Social media giant Paul has so far won every bout he has competed in, but Fury is the first opponent he is facing from a boxing background.

Whichever way it goes, it promises to be a thrilling night in Saudi Arabia between two long-term rivals.
