Tommy Lee reportedly wants a restraining order against his eldest son Brandon after the 21-year-old ‘refused to apologise’ for allegedly injuring him during an altercation on Monday night.
TMZ reports the 55-year-old Mötley Crüe rocker was prepared to withdraw a police report filed over the assault, as long as his son apologised to him.
It was claimed that Tommy’s feelings changed after Brandon released a statement alleging that the fight was because of his father’s alcoholism (which Tommy denied) saying he wanted to see him ‘sober, healthy and happy’.

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Tommy and Brandon for comment.
The reports comes after Tommy tweeted that he was through with social media on Wednesday after Brandon blamed their recent altercation on his father’s alleged alcoholism.
Brandon and Tommy got into a scuffle on Monday night that left Tommy with a swollen lip.
‘I’m devastated at the events of the last several days that have been a result of my father’s alcoholism,’ Brandon said in a statement to People.

No more: Tommy , shown in June in West Hollywood, California, quit social media on Wednesday after his son Brandon blamed their recent altercation on his father’s drinking
‘I’ve worked tirelessly organizing an intervention and it’s incredibly upsetting that it never came to fruition. I wanted my dad’s hopeful sobriety and recovery to be a private family matter but, as a result of his accusations on social media, I feel forced to speak out,’ continued the statement released by Brandon’s representative Teal Cannaday.
‘I have and will continue to cooperate with law enforcement as needed. I love my father and just want to see him sober, happy and healthy,’ the statement concluded.
Tommy took to Twitter and denied Brandon’s claims while tweeting a response to the article.
‘LMAAAO!!!! I’m happier than I’ve been in my entire life. I have a few drinks here & there because I’m f***in retired and enjoying my life. I worked 30+ f***in years I deserve it,’ he tweeted.
Final tweet: The 55-year-old rocker said he was done with social media in a tweet
‘You didn’t arrange any intervention, you barely spoke to me while u were here. Just coverin ur a**!!,’ he added.
The Motley Crue drummer later tweeted that he was over social media.
‘See ya later social media! Can’t read anymore liesss,’ he tweeted.
Strong denial: Tommy denied his son’s claims and said he’s happier than ever
Brandon was defending his mother Pamela Anderson, 50, as he got into an argument with Tommy over a social media post, according to TMZ.
Tommy took to social media after his ex Pamela in an interview with Piers Morgan that aired on Saturday discussed physical abuse during their relationship.
He tweeted: ‘Think she’d find something new to discuss instead of rehashing old s*** but I guess she has nothing else going on & needs attention. Signed, ‘The Abuser’ (who she texts everyday & asks for me back).’
Tough situation: Tommy, shown with fiancee Brittany Furlan last September in Beverly Hills, tweeted that he has a ‘few drinks here & there’
Brandon acknowledged in his statement that the social media attack was the cause of their argument.
Tommy, who’s also father to a 20-year-old with Baywatch beauty Pamela Anderson named Dylan Jagger Lee, served six months in custody in connection with domestic violence after he pleaded no contest to felony spousal battery in 1998.
Prosecutors in the case said that the rock star had attacked her as she was holding a then-infant Dylan.
Strong bond: The 21-year-old was defending his mother Pamela Anderson, shown together in Los Angeles last June in Beverly Hills
Ouch: However it is claimed the two got into an altercation due to the musician taking to Twitter to bash the 50-year-old actress for talking about their relationship in a recent interview with Piers Morgan
Tommy was also married to actress Heather Locklear from 1986 thru 1993, and Elaine Bergen from 1984 thru 1985.
He is now engaged to Vine star Brittany Furlan.
News of the incident came out after Tommy took to social media on Tuesday night to claim he was assaulted by his Brandon who he says knocked him ‘unconscious.’
Hitting back: Tommy and DailyMail.com Editor-At-Large Morgan exchanged jabs on social media
Drama: TMZ later reported on Wednesday that a source close to Tommy said that Brandon had knocked his father out so violently that his fiancee Brittany Furlan thought he was dead, as the couple are pictured together in Calabasas in October
The rock star wrote on Twitter, ‘My fiancé and I were in bed when my son busted into the room and assaulted me. I asked him to leave the house and he knocked me unconscious. He ran away from the police. THAT’S the truth.’
Tommy even posted an image – which has since been deleted – of his busted, bloody lip, implying it was his son who dealt him the injury.
The Blast reports police were called after Tommy got into a fight with his son on Monday night at around 10:49PM.

Counterpoint: Brandon, seen here in a recent social media shot, was defending himself from his father in the incident that led up to the bloodied lip, a source told TMZ
The rock star is reported to have told cops Brandon had access to firearms, but the drummer was unaware of their exact location at that time.
The Motley Crue drummer wrote on social media in a now-deleted photo of his lip: ‘My heart is broken. You can give your kids everything they could ever want in their entire lives and they can still turn against you.
‘Good job Brandon! Great son!’
