Tori Spelling dishes on what it was like living in her parents’ extravagant mansion called The Manor

Tori Spelling has detailed what it was like living in her parents’ Aaron and Candy Spelling’s sprawling mansion.

On the latest episode of her podcast MisSpelling, the 51-year-old media personality shared, ‘When I was 12, my parents purchased property that became The Manor, and it was Bing Crosby’s house.’

She added, ‘Little known fact: my mom loved Bing Crosby. [She was] a huge fan, so that was a fun connection, and then she tore all that s*** down.’

Before her mom and dad bought the residence, they took her and her brother Randy, 45, to tour it.

Tori described, ‘There were hidden passageways and an underground library that you pushed on something and it went into these secret rooms.’

She continued: ‘It was full-on to the point where I was like, “Oh, my god. This is my life. Mom, you have to keep it!”‘

The family ended up moving into the home, which was on the same street of their previous house.

To make it their own, the Spellings renovated The Manor from top to bottom, dedicating six years to the process.

Tori revealed she didn’t move in until she was 17-years-old.

The estate was 56,000 sq ft and boasted two driveways, two entrances, a kitchen with a breakfast room attached, and a dining room.

The mother-of-five — whose ex-husband is Dean McDermott — estimated that there were about 125 rooms in total.

The Spelling property also had a pool, pool house, and jacuzzi.

It was noted that there was around-the-clock security and live-in staff on the premises.

Tori also gushed about the projection room, which her family used as their living room.

The room space offered leveled seating and she explained that her parents used to sit at the top, in front of Monet and Renoir paintings.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 actress recalled, ‘When you enter the house, on the ground level there’s everything that you would think of on a ground level.

‘And there was an elevator. You would take the elevator [or] stairs [up] for the bedrooms and you would take the elevator downstairs almost like going to the basement level [and] that’s where all these unique rooms [were].’

The home eas complete with a two-lane bowling alley, gym, an arcade, a bar, a pool table room, plus a doll museum with Tori’s mother’s collection of figurines and toys.

Tori said her and her brother’s friends ‘would walk into the doll museum and I would be adjusting the lights to dim them perfectly and they’d be like, “This is creepy.”

‘Everyone was scared [and] terrified. My brother and I would mess with them, one of us would take you on a tour and someone [would] pop through the door around the back.’

Despite her fond memories of The Manor, the star admitted she had no real attachment to it and only lived there for a couple of years.

‘I can honestly say I have no emotional attachment to the house and I never did,’ she confessed. ‘I have good memories there but my best memories with my parents were created at the other house. The house wasn’t my dad’s jam. He liked small and cozy, and my mom loves to decorate.’

Candy sold the home after her husband’s death in 2006 at the age of 83.
