Nine-man Liverpool came within seconds of holding Tottenham to a draw on Saturday.

A contentious red card for Curtis Jones threatened to ruin the game and the hots were in a commanding position when Son Heung-min poked home from the returning Richarlison’s cross.

But Cody Gakpo levelled things up, injuring himself in the process, before his half time replacement, Diogo Jota, also saw red for two yellow cards.

Joel Matip put into his own net late on as Reds hearts broke.
