Tottenham defender Sergio Reguilon is set to undergo a medical at Brentford on Wednesday ahead of completing a loan deal.

Both clubs have agreed a deal for the left-back to move across London this month after the Spaniard returned from a previous loan spell at Manchester United.

And the deal should be ratified tomorrow provided Reguilon passes his medical checks.

Brentford are without their first-choice left-back Rico Henry, who suffered an ACL injury earlier this season.

Indeed, the signing of a new full-back has been a priority for Bees boss Thomas Frank.

Reguilon is free to leave Spurs after Ange Postecoglou deemed the defender surplus to requirements.
