Tottenham have been handed a major boost ahead of their Champions League semi-final showdown with Ajax after Moussa Sissoko returned to training on Monday.
The 29-year-old has been out of action with a groin injury he picked up in the quarter-final second-leg against Manchester City.
He subsequently missed the Premier League clashes with City, Brighton and West Ham, as Mauricio Pochettino’s side ceded ground in the race for the ‘top four’.
However, he joined team-mates as they walked out on to the pitches at Hotspur Way in Enfield, suggesting that he could well be in a position to line up against their Dutch opponents at home on Tuesday.
