Tottenham’s Oliver Skipp and Djed Spence chased as loan targets by a number of Premier League clubs

Tottenham’s Oliver Skipp and Djed Spence are being chased as loan targets by a number of Premier League clubs, with both players struggling for game time under Antonio Conte

Tottenham midfielder Oliver Skipp and wing-back Djed Spence are loan targets for a number of Premier League clubs.

Skipp has made just eight league appearances for Spurs this season after establishing himself in 2021-22, with the midfielder struggling to match his past form since returning from a pelvic injury last July.

After arriving for £20 million from Nottingham Forest over the summer, Spence has had even less game time, playing in just six matches across all competitions for Antonio Conte’s side.

The wing back is likely to move further down the pecking order for the rest of the season, with Sporting Lisbon star Pedro Porro expected to join Spurs before the end of January.

The 23-year-old is expected to arrive for around £40 million after a disappointing defensive run for Tottenham that saw them concede 21 goals in 10 games.

Spurs will next be in action next Sunday when they face a tough test against Manchester City, who beat them 4-2 at the Etihad earlier this month.
