Six viscous thugs who savagely bashed a tourist to the ground before repeatedly kicking him in the head and stealing his pants, have faced court over the horrifying attack.

Tayarrah Gay Morris, 26, appeared in the Supreme Court on Tuesday over her role in the frenzied assault in the early hours of Christmas Eve in 2020.

Sickening footage shows the group chasing the 28-year old stranger down following a short argument, after being kicked out of Monsoons Bar in Darwin.

The tourist is repeatedly kicked, punches and stomped on as he lays helpless on the road.

Morris pleaded guilty to recklessly endangering serious harm in court – making her the last of the six brawlers to make a guilty plea.

She wiped away tears as the gruesome CCTV footage was played to the court, NT News reported.

The footage showed her standing over the man repeatedly slapping him to the face and punching him to the stomach.

The six-on-one attack is only briefly broken up as a bystander who swings a large wooden plank at the group before being chased away.

Moments later, the tourist’s unconscious body is unceremoniously dragged along the road to the kerbside.

In yet another bizarre moment of cruelty, Ashleigh Epiha, pulls down the man’s shorts and underwear, leaving him naked and bleeding.

The man was eventually helped by bystanders before being taken to Royal Darwin Hospital, suffering a mild brain injury.

Justice Judith Kelly described the footage of the ‘vicious’ attack as confronting.

Defence barrister Peter Bellach said Morris ‘lived with the shame’ of the attack and was still feeling the consequences for her actions 18 months later.

Morris’s bail was extended until her sentencing hearing on Wednesday August 3.
