This is the shocking moment a passenger is thrown from a vehicle as it spins out of control and comes to rest in the front yard of a Gold Coast home.

A car load of tourists was travelling along Worongary Road in Tallai on the Gold Coast shortly before 8pm on Sunday when the vehicle hit a guard rail and flipped. 

CCTV footage captured the moment a passenger was thrown from the vehicle, landing just metres away, appearing dazed and confused.

While the front seat passenger was thrown from the car, the driver and two rear passengers were trapped, Nine News reported. 

The three remaining passengers were cut free from the vehicle when emergency services arrived on scene about 8pm.

All four tourists were stabilised at the scene before being transported to hospital in an ambulance. 

Two passengers were treated for minor injuries, while another two were left in serious conditions, with suspected spinal injuries.
