‘So I thought lets open a conversation and start talking about it because its something I’ve always felt self conscious about and as I’ve gotten older I’ve realised there isn’t a reason to be.
‘So if this helps us all talk about it a bit more then that’s got to be a good thing right! I only started getting pigmentation maybe 5 years ago when these pictures were taken and it’s something that really bothered me to start with!
‘It used to look like I had a moustache if I’d been in the sun which obviously for any girl is horrible!

‘I’d be worried if you could see it on the show and what the comments from people would be like and its something that’s taken me a while to start getting under control.
‘Once I put the superficial effects it was having on me aside i realised it was more about the safety of my skin and minimising any further damage to it as much as I could.
‘I started wearing factor 30 or 50 everyday on my face no matter the weather and whether i was home or abroad! (Even if it was snowing) and this really helped.
‘People always comment how I’m always in a hat when I’m on holiday too, this is something that really helps me because it keeps the sun out of my face. I never sun bath with my face out I think that’s the most important tip!

‘I have tried every product you can think of, if it said ‘for pigmentation’ on the packaging, you best believe I tried it but with trial and error i have found some which have really helped my skin and how it looks and feels.
‘You have to protect your skin especially when you have pigmentation so I’d love to hear if any of you guys have pigmentation and any tips you may have that we can share in the comments and get talking.
‘I definitely have mine under control a bit more from these pictures which I couldn’t be happier about x.’
