Father, 45, accused of raping his three young daughters and making dozens of hours of homemade porn is charged with over 200 sex offences

Police have laid more than 200 charges on a 45-year-old man in Townsville for making ‘dozens of hours’ of child pornography with his three young daughters.

Police allegedly found reams of ‘homemade porn’ featuring the man’s daughter and his two step daughters – aged between five and 14 – when they raided a property in Innisfail in May this year.

The offences are said to have taken place over a nine year period between 2007 and 2016 in the Forrest Beach area, according to the Townsville Bulletin.

Police will allege that the three girls – who now live safely in Townsville – were subject to the ‘foulest forms of abuse’. 

The man was initially charged with 24 offences including two counts of rape and was granted bail.

However, after sifting through footage over several months, another 94 charges were laid in May 30.

The new charges included 14 counts of rape, 41 counts of involving a child in making child exploitation material and two counts of maintaining an unlawful relationship with a child. 

The offences are said to have taken place over a nine year period between 2007 and 2016 in the Forrest Beach area

This week, he was charged with a further 101 offences – including seven further accounts of rape and 33 counts of involving a child in the making of child exploitation material. 

Police have said there is no evidence that the footage was distributed to any third party.

‘Predominantly the footage we have is with him in it,’ Detective acting Senior Sergeant Daniel Stehr from the Townsville Child Protection and Investigation Unit said. 

The man will face court in October.
