Two people have been killed in a gyrocopter crash in the central west region of New South Wales.
Emergency services were called to a paddock on Forest Road in Spring Hill, at about midday on Wednesday, following reports that a recreational light aircraft crashed and caught fire.
A police spokeswoman confirmed two people died at the scene.

Fire crews arrived at the scene and extinguished the blaze by 12.30pm.
The police spokewomen said a crime scene has been established.
Officers from the central west district are investigating.
A gyrocopter is a type of rotorcraft that uses rotors which are not powered. Unlike a helicopter, the thrust comes from a propeller either at the front or rear of the aircraft.
